460km to charge the battery??

<p>A few months back, after making use of Carmin parking services, we received our car back with an empty tank of petrol, barely able to reach the nearest filling station. Having not checked our km reading and petrol gage before handing over our car to the service, we had no proof of any foul play.</p> <p> </p> <p>On Tuesday, 21 June 2016, we received our car back from the same service. We had left it with them for a 2 week period while overseas. My mother had deliberately checked the km reading on the car, as well as her petrol gage before handing the car over to Carmin 2 weeks before.</p> <p>They had driven 460km with our car in this 2 week period, and emptied our petrol tank which was more than half full before we departed from South Africa. </p> <p>The owner, Adriaan's, excuse was that he had to 'charge the battery'. 460km just to charge the battery? I dont think so...</p> <p> </p> <p>This is totally unacceptable service - unprofessional and *********. We wil never be making use of your service again.</p> <p> </p> <p>I advise travelers to make use of the OR Tambo Off-site Long term parking. Its convenient and safe, and you keep your keys with you while your car is safely parked.</p>
