Terrible Staff Service

So I use Carlton hair salon in Cavendish Sqaure Cape Town very often and the past few visits has been terrible.

On Sunday 26 August I had an appointment, when I got there the atmosphere was terrible. When I stepped in the receptionish was not at the desk for one, then the girl that done my hair (i cannot remember her name) came strolling in like she was not in the mood to be there. This girl was so miserable not a smile nothing that one of the other staff member who walked by while my has being being blown actually stopped and told her to smile. I make use of the Cavendish branch because the vibe and staff was always nice but I may as well now start going to Blue Route where I used to go.

On Thursday 30 August I had another appointment and Jade the girl who did my hair actually made up for the appointment before that with her friendliness and bubbly personality making sure constantly that I am olay or if I needed anything. Then we come to me making the payment and the receptionist Deborah could not get the card machine to work (which is understandable) but her response ‘oh just go draw the money’ not even a sorry for the inconvenience.

Then today Tuesday 4 September I call in and again I get Deborah, I specifically ask her for an appointment for a wash and a blow at 18:00 she then says sure okay fine but then I get my sms and the booking is for 17:00 I then call back and the girl who now answers the phone says oh but I see we fully booked for 18:00 and our blow bar staff are only working till 17:00 so we put you down for 17:00, how does this even make sense to book someone for a tome they said they cannot make??

The service at Cavendish has really gone down drastically, you feel the animosity among staff who chitter chatter at the basin about other staff members which I find exceptionally unprofessional. The vibe and atmospher is not what it used to be, staff does not offer drinks anymore (not that I ever take) staff are miserable and not friendly.

I am so dissapointed in Carltons Cavendish.
