**************** -Disgusting Carlton Hair!

<p>I am extremely disheartened by the continuous dishonesty and and lack of integrity of the Carlton Hair salons. I call and ask for an appointment with a senior stylist expecting to pay for a senior stylist but this never happens. I went to Sandton Square branch yesterday and due to past experience with the same issue I even called twice to confirm that i was indeed booked with a senior stylist, this was confirmed. I get to the salon, get my hair done and then get to the till to pay and get told I was being serviced by a master stylist which I now have to pay the premium for. I used to do my hair at Carlton Hair many years ago and stopped going because of this precise reason - you walk in expecting to pay x but actually get charged y. I gave it a try again a few months ago and the same thing happened. I have maybe been there four times in the last few months and every time is the same. I moved from the Sandton City salon and tried Sandton Square because of this reason and found exactly the same. I don't see the point of calling and specifically booking one stylist and getting another without being told upfront, is it policy to confirm this again when one gets to the salon? Or is this just how Carlton Hair operates? What's more is that a few people I have spoken to have had the same experience and I'm sure there are many more!! I wonder how the Consumer Protector will feel of such. Once again - extremely annoyed and disappointed at the extreme dishonesty!</p>
