Complete total *******

Yesterday I had booked a colour tint, which states that it costs R500 per 50g. My friend had booked the colour package for R1650. At the end of the day they charged each of us R3000. Neither of us expected this and feel that this is a total ******* and would like to have this issue settled. I feel that it is completely disgusting to put someone under the impression that they will be charged a certain amount and then completely exploit them. I had insisted multiple times that I’m only there for a colour. I said no cut, no treatment, no drying. However they did all of the above despite me telling them not to and I’m sure that’s where the cost came from.

The service we received was also extremely poor. My friend had a stylist who was singing and screaming in a very uncivilized manner. The 2 stylists who were working on my hair clearly had no idea what they were doing as they messed so much dye on my face and ears - I have photographic proof of this. Their head stylist at one point also told them to stop putting so much colour at the roots and to “melt” in down into the length of the hair. He told them “otherwise you’re going to have to use more dye”. I was clearly charged for them having to use more dye to to their lack of technique. I have checked with other stylists who have told me that they would have only used 150g of dye. So it was clearly due to the incompetence of the 2 stylists that I was charged so much.

The head stylists name was Tony.

Quite frankly I am a student. I didn’t expect to spend R3000 on dying my hair black. I had to dip into my rent money to actually be able to pay the R3000.

I request that this be investigated and action taken. I ask for common decency in sorting out this issue. It is clear that I was ******.
