Carlton Hair Rosebank charged me R 200.00 to put one bobby pin in my hair.

I don't even know why I am writing this review, as it is evident from previous reviews that Carlton doesn't even have the decency to respond.

Two weeks ago, I accompanied my friend on her wedding day to Carlton Hair Rosebank to get our hair done. I had requested that curls be done on my hair and was charged R 445.00. Half an hour later, my curls fell. I then had to ask my friend for her curling tong and hairspray in order to remedy my mess of a hair. And mind you, my hair stayed quite perfectly thereafter.

My friend's cousin had also done her hair at Carlton that day but was charged R 250.00 for a blow-dry with brushes to set the curls. I was quite taken aback by what I heard from her and decided to query this with Carlton Hair.

Today, I walked into Carlton and asked them what they charge for curling hair with a hair tong (which is what the girl used on me) and they told me that it was R 250.00. You can imagine my surprise. After consulting with the girl who did my hair, she told me that the reason she charged me R 200.00 extra was because she TWISTED ONE SIDE OF MY HAIR AND PINNED IT UP WITH ONE BOBBY PIN. Can you imagine? I paid R 200.00 extra for ONE BOBBY PIN to be placed in my hair.

It's absurd, the way this salon rips you off just to make a quick buck. And to top it off, I basically had to DO MY OWN HAIR.

Please DON'T go to Carlton Hair unless you want to be **********.
