Don't do it. The much-vaunted Checkers five-minute online "we'll get your car licence" offer was disgraceful. A month down the line, after my original documents were lost or turned down, I was told my car doesn't exist. Numerous unanswered phone calls, unfulfilled promises to phone me back, and my car sitting unlicenced in my back yard confirmed what I have suspected for years: customer service here is the worst in the world. I have licenced my car for 12 years at the municipality in quick time, and yes, my car does exist!. My daughter's licence also took a month to arrive on our doorstep. This has been a horrible experience.
