Terrible Service - Cargo Motors - Mercedes Benz Bedfordview
This is now enough. We had our A200 at Mercedes Bedfordview for engine problems on Friday the 22nd of October. Explained the issues being experienced and they informed us on the Friday afternoon that the vehicle tested okay after reprogramming and running diagnostics. Friday evening experienced the same issue, loss of power and getting stuck on side of the highway. Returned it again on the Saturday morning. Was welcomed by a very rude Nigel that informed us that the diagnostics have reflected no fault. He automatically blamed me for putting in contaminated fuel. We requested a Workshop supervisor to come with us to show them what the car does. The car loses power again and eventually dies at the dealership gate. They had to push the car back in, not starting at all.
They pushed the vehicle into the workshop and were informed by Steven that he does not know what is wrong. Ran diagnostics again. Kept the vehicle until Tuesday, could not find a fault and it also wasn't fuel contamination. We collected the vehicle on Wednesday evening, told us that they could not find any fault and should be okay. Saturday, again the vehicle lost power, broke down on the side of the highway. Switched the car off and luckily I could get going again. Our lives are put at risk by them not detecting the issue and keep telling us the car is fine.
This is enough and we demand answers from Merc Bedfordview. Surely there must be some sort of process to follow if the consumer complains about an occurring fault. The service we have received here has been appalling for the last 2 years.
We are not sure if this is a dealership issue with service in general or is there a huge issue with the Merc that they are simply not detecting?
I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
