I recently purchased a demo model Pajero Sport from Cargo Motors Bedfordview, I was advised that my car was ready for delivery and I went through to collect it. The sales person could not tell me anything about the vehicle, in fact they did not even know how to fold the back seats flat so none of the vehicles features was explained to me. I was also informed that the tow bar had been ordered and I would need to bring the vehicle back for that to be fitted. This was done a couple of days later and at this time I informed the sales person that the voice command and the navigation was not working. A day and a half later I was told to come and collect my vehicle and that it would have to be booked in for the workshop to look at the problem. This was done and I spent another day without a vehicle, at 15:15 I am informed that they cannot fix this and that the vehicle must be sent to the installer of the equipment, when this will take place I will be informed in due course and that will mean another day without a vehicle. In the interim I am expected to drive around in a vehicle that obviously never went through a PDI before delivery, I was in no rush for this vehicle as I did have a current vehicle to drive. I needed to pay cash for it before the end of February and then take delivery when the vehicle was ready. I was informed that everything had been checked and the vehicle was ready to go, obviously not and since then the sales person is not really interested in resolving the issues, just another added issue, the vehicle has no spare key and on last checking a replacement key had not been ordered as yet. Based on this experience it will be the first and last time I purchase anything from Cargo Motors.
