Cargo Motors Bedfordview -Terrible Service and customer relations

My JEEP Wrangler was serviced at Cargo Motors Bedfordview.

Firstly, I've noticed that my car's oil level was only showing at the halfway mark on the dipstick when I checked the next moring at home BEFORE I drove the car! I had to add 750ml of oil before it was on the "full" level mark on the dipstick.

Secondly, I've asked the workshop to drain my car's cooling system, as I had to add water and coolant from a local garage to the filler tank, as my JEEP was running hot. As the coolant was not certified by Jeep / Chrysler Group, and my car still being under guarantee, I wanted to make sure that it met the manufaturers standard, and the water/coolant ratio was correct. This was not done by the workshop as they only decided to "do a pressure test" and NOT to drain the cooling system.

Thirdly, my service book wasn't filled in or stamped that the car had been serviced.

I phoned Mr. George Azzie, the Dealer Principle and explained the situation. I was asked to come in again to the dealership that the system can be bleeded/drained, after they were suppose to do that in the first place!

When I took my Jeep in again, I asked the workshop manager, Mr. Wesley Snyman NOT to take the Jeep for a test drive, as the overheating problem only occurs if it is 31 or more degrees Celcius outside, and when you drive uphill with the air conditioner on. I was standing next to him when he instrucked Sarel in the workshop to bleed the system and just "stress" the engine to see if it overheats. As I was standing in the parking area, I saw that Sarel decided in his wisdom that he WILL take the Jeep for a test drive, without my consent! I went to the DP's office and complained about it. Mr. Snyman was called into the office and he admitted in the DP's office that he instructed his personnel in the workshop not to take the Jeep for a test drive, as it was +- 22 degrees outside, and that the same conditions of the Jeep running hot could not be replicated.

Sarel was called into the DP's office after he came back from his "test drive". He resetted my trip meter and fuel consumption readings. After I got the car back from his trip, it indicated 18.8 miles per gallon!!! The question is, how do you drive a car for 14.5 km( as the trip meter was also restted to 0) to get that kind of consumption? When I brought this under the Workshop manager (Mr. Snyman) attention, I was told that it was "impossible". AGAIN - I was made out to be the lier and the fool, although it was not said to me in so many words........

My biggest issue with that dealership was their attitude. I was told that it was "impossble" that the oil was not showing "full" on the dipstick. Secondly, I was abo****ly treated by the staff as if I WAS THE ONE THAT DID SOMETHING WRONG and is just complaining for no reason! Mr. Azzie gave me a sort of weak apology, and was told that he is "trying" to get his workshop personnel to listen to him, but they don't seem to, and it would take more time to accomplish this...... I was dumb struck! Have the DP not heard of the Labour Law and how to apply it in you workplace if your staff members are not listening, and have a serious unhappy customers like myself?

Not ONE of the Workshop personnel, including the workshop Manager offered an apology for their incompatance and VERY poor workmanship and attitude/manners! Even when I told Mr. Snyman that I am taking this matter futher, he looked at me and smiled..... The audacity!

NEVER will that dealership see me again. To anybody who thinks of servicing your car at Cargo Motors Bedfordview, THINK AGAIN! You will make a mistake.
