BAD SERVICE WITH DODGE BEDFORDVIEW

On Thursday the 03 March 2016 We booked a 2011 dodge journey RT for normal service (oil change etc.) with a dealership that we have been using for the past 4 years. Upon taking the car back we realised that it was now making funny whining noise from the left side. We duly informed Cargo dealer and they advised that we should return it for testing - which was checked out on Friday and they advised that they suspect a gearbox bearing but we should bring it on Monday 07/03/16 for proper diagnosing.<br> <br> It seems they have \thoroughly\" diagnosed the car and are now claiming that it is a compounder that is gone, this is inside the gearbox. An estimate cost to repair this will be R18 000. This car had no problem at all and had all regular services. We have asked the dealer how can we bring a car that is perfectly fine and the next thing the gearbox is damaged. The service manager has responded that they will not carry the cost as it is not their fault. It is also not our fault, SEE US NO MORE THERE.<br> <br> "
