Hidden costs will leave you sleeping at the airport on a bench

Discovered that the amount I paid to carflexi (who is a 3rd party agent and not an actual car rental company) was not a deposit and would not not be deducted of the total car hire price. Imagine the distress it caused when landing JHB and been told you have to the full rental amount and an extra R15 000 insurance deposit which was not disclosed by carflexi!!!! I was left stranded, where is an average income earning South African meant to pull R15 000 out of a hat at a minutes notice???? Not the mention the full rental amount as the "deposit" you paid was actually CarFlexi commission.

So if you dont want to end up sleeping at the airport till a bus or shuttle comes available going in your direction....DO NOT use CarFlexi!!!!!!!
