CARFLEXI.COM is a ripoff. After struggling to secure Group K car rental services in and around Vanderbijlpark due non-availability of SUVs for rental; I then tried other online services that offer car rental services. I came across the website: carflexi.com. They claimed to work with major car hire companies across the country and could get you any car you wanted. I then made an online request for a Toyota RAV4 (Group K) or similar. Their response was affirmative for Toyota RAV4 and pick-up was to be at EUROPCAR Vanderbijlpark branch. I was requested to pay a booking fee of R 1056.42 online to Carflexi and the remainder of the total rental fee to Europcar hire upon pick up of the car. The next morning, I went to Europcar for pick up and was informed that there was no SUV type of car available for hire at that time as it was explained to me before I engaged Carflexi. I then decided to hire a different group of a car and produced a voucher from Carflexi indicating my booking fee. I was informed that my booking with Carflexi was not acknowledged by Europcar and as a result could not be honored. I tried to call Carflexi to no avail. I paid everything that was required for me to rent a car and decide to deal with Carflexi after my trip. Up to this day, Carflexi has not reimbursed me my booking fee and doesn't want to accept responsibility on their part. They made a false claim of being able to provide a service where others failed.
