Car rental agency profits by holding onto deposit for way too long!!!!

After a great service experience from this company from start to finish, they have now totally messed up. By holding onto my deposit for two weeks. I rented a vehicle from Carflexi for a total of 4 days in Cape Town at the beginning of August 2024. Paying a deposit for the vehicle more than 6 times the value of the rental amount. Now it is two weeks later and I am yet to receive my deposit back from the company. I have been provided with a statement that it will be returned within 7-21 days, as standard response. This is shocking, in my opinion. In addition, they don't even respond to my emails querying the situation. Great service reduced to I'll never use or recommend them to anyone again. I understand that this is how they make money, but this is ridiculous!
