Hired a car and paid for it in October for rental on 19 Dec. When I landed I contacted the rental company. They asked if anyone had contacted me which I said no. After considerable delay they eventually tell me they want to upgrade me as the car I selected is not available. Bonus, right? Wrong! The car I selected was a 7 seater as we are 6 passengers but the “upgrade” (brand of car I never heard of) was a 5 seater. I said that won’t do. Apparently it’s the only 7 seater they have and it suddenly, at the time I landed decided to have a mechanical failure. Carflexi is a ****. Stick with the big names. Had to pay a massive premium to hire a car at airport. Not worth the apparent saving. No courtesy calls or anything from them. They are a ****.
