My experience with Dr Zigiriadis was exceptional in a way that is increasingly rare. Hiss warmth, personal engagement, concern and interest was profound. What stood out was not only surgical expertise, but clinical judgement, wisdom, significant experience, ongoing contact with explanations and offers of unusual support and advice. He made the time to contact us and take direct calls. Unheard of. Surgery was approached conservatively, reducing stress and enhancing recovery times. This reflects a genuine commitment to the patient’s wellbeing. Equally impressive was the continuity of care. His 'sister' nurse and front desk maintained daily contact, relayed messages accurately, and ensured clear communication with both patient and family throughout the process. Even after surgery, there was personal follow-up, which removed uncer*****y during recovery. This is what “standard of care” should mean: not only technical skill, but thoughtful decision-making and consistent, human-centred, personalised care. It is reassuring to know that this level of medicine still exists.</div>
