Cardies & Ackermans staff " Make the Difference"

I was shopping at the Mall of Africa and went into Ackermans and made a purchase. I then went to Cardies and made a purchase. While walking through the mall I needed to make a phone call. I looked for my phone in my handbag and couldn't find it! I was devastated as all my info on my phone is not copied anywhere (good lesson)! I went to Cardies and asked them if we could watch their camera footage to see if I left it there or if it was ******. They were very helpful and friendly and we went to the cameras. The lady called Thabisile asked me if I had called my phone and offered to do that. A gentleman called Stan answered my phone and after a discussion with him he advised that I had left my phone at the till at Ackermans and the cashier Thembi had handed it in at the office. I want to commend both company's staff for their help, friendliness and determination to help me find my phone! The staff I want to praise are Thembi and Stan from Ackermans, Lorraine and Thabisile from Cardies! I must just also say that on a previous occasion at Ackermans in Alberton I left an envelope with R1000 in cash at the till and when I went back the cashier had kept it for me!! I did commend her to Ackermans! It just gives you faith in this country especially with all the troubles we are facing!! I love South Africa, we do have many many wonderful people!
