I tried to renew a subscription to Caravan & Outdoor Life Magazine using my credit card on the website. Authorisation was declined twice in a row, so I left it for the moment wondering what was wrong with my card. Before long, Linda Rose from the subscriptions department phoned me, and said she noticed I had been trying to do a renewal, and could she help me. It was all sorted out on the telephone right then, and not only that, but she asked if we were pensioners, and offered a pensioners discount.
