NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

Bought a battery on the 17th May 2023, Inv No; 2938. When you go to a shop, and the consultant ask you all the details pertaining to the vehicle, are they NOT suppose to provide you with the CORRECT parts? He sold me the WRONG battery. When my husband drove to work, sat there for 1 hour, came out wanting to leave, the battery was flat. NO, there is no electric fault as the vehicle was taken to an auto electrician to see if there was anything wrong with the wiring. There is no electrical fault. Eventually he got the vehicle started, drove to his next destination, they tested the battery, and figured that the battery supp**** was not the CORRECT one, 652, which is suppose to be a 658. On the day of purchasing the Battery, the was a pamphlet on the door/window, to register the battery, as the Invoice gets lost or the ink fades, and I asked the boy if I could register the battery there, and he said no ma'am, it is NOT necessary, we engrave the Inv No and the date purchased on the battery, so if there is any problems, you can bring the battery back. WHICH I DID NOW!!!! And guess what??????????? There is a problem because I do not have the slip. I told Ebrahim (who by the way has NO customer skills), laughed at me most of the time, speaking over me, NOT wanting to give me a chance to explain everything. I did not want to be "***ist", but Ebrahim, is it because I am a female? Does that give you the right to look down on me? The was a guy that came in after me, that you spoke too, not saying: "Sorry ma'am or sorry miss/mrs, can I quickly speak to this gentlemen", it is/was the right thing to do. Do NOT speak to other customers while you are busy with a current customer. You need to send or train him about customer service. My husband had to borrow a battery from his customers, and we are still using their battery. When I asked him what am I suppose to use now, as the battery currently is a friends battery, I was told to pay R500.00 refundable, for a loan battery. YOUR CONSULTANT SOLD ME THE WRONG ITEM TO BEGIN WITH NOW I MUST PAY A R500.00 REFUNDABLE. If it was a mistake from myside, then sure no problem. YOUR CONSULTANT, told me not to worry about a slip, as everything is engraved on the battery. NOW that I am having an issue, the slip is an issue. When you take an invoice number, or provide a company that sells anything, a date and time even, they will go onto the system, and look for that slip, because they want to keep the customers happy. But NO, Not you or atleast not YOUR STAFF. I even offered to get the bank statement to prove that we bought the battery there on that day. Sorry, but that is our rule. Is it because it is Mitchells Plain that the staff DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS OR is it because I AM A FEMALE, that they can do WHATEVER they want too. This is unacceptable. I always tell my husband to NOT by you, rather go to PROGRESS, or MIDAS, or any other BIG Company, because they HONOR their customers.
