Unacceptable 3-month delay, denied warranty liability, and zero accountability – Car Service City Springs

I am completely disgusted by the appalling service, absolute incompetence, and lack of accountability at Car Service City Springs. Following a major cylinder head overhaul and turbocharger reconditioning done by this branch under warranty in August 2025, my 2017 Ford Focus suffered a catastrophic engine failure on 29 June 2026—well within their 12-month workmanship warranty period. The vehicle was towed to the Springs branch on 2 July 2026, and what followed was a nightmare of evasion and endless delays For nearly four months, my car sat at their workshop. Management repeatedly deflected responsibility, refused to honor their workmanship warranty, and attempted to push further sub-assembly costs onto me. To make matters worse, despite my multiple requests over several weeks, they flat-out failed to provide a formal mechanical failure report to explain the breakdown. I have finally had enough of their poor workmanship and stalling tactics. I have officially extracted my vehicle from their shop and transferred it to independent specialists to handle the engine replacement properly. Car Service City Springs has proven to be completely unreliable and unprofessional. They will drag out your claims, leave you stranded for months, and abandon all liability when their own work fails. I am cutting ties with this business indefinitely and strongly advise anyone who values their time, money, and vehicle safety to stay far away from this branch.
