They're supposed to be RMI approved,dont be fooled

My major problems are fixed BUT the car's timing is now out, its missing & still pinging.. This makes me question their workmanship skills. I decided to fetch my car from them yesterday (I wasn't going to spend another cent there), they suspected & said that the head gasket is blown. They quoted me R3200 (On top of what I already paid for repairs & maintenance that costed me an ARM & a LEG which is ridiculous!) to fix a blown head gasket, then they started talking about the block that might be damaged also. I took the car somewhere else to get a 2nd opinion, the mechanic that looked at my car did a simple adjust of the ignition timing, the car is idling perfect again & he said that the head gasket is not blown, there is probably nothing wrong with my block too. To make a long story short, they WONT TRY to save you as the customer money, you wont feel comfortable while your car is there, the way they are priced, it will feel as if you are taking your car to the agents. They are not honest, don't have the customer's best interest at heart, they are just out there to make money. When you leave their workshop, you'll feel like you were conned. I WON'T SUPPORT THEM AGAIN, PLEASE BEWARE!
