Stay away!! For the love of your car/wallet/sanity

So I saw this online promo for a +/- R800 service from CSC. I contacted them for a booking, no problem, asked them to verify the promo deal, no response, thought nothing about it.. Took my car in the next morning (Wednesday) early, received an email later stating I needed to replace R 15 000 worth of parts/labor (and this after I serviced my car like last year). I called their bluff and only requested them to complete the service, which in the meantime magically amounted to more than R 2000...

Now this is where things started getting interesting, after confronting them about the sudden change of pricing they informed me that, that was only for older models (I have a 2011 Ford Figo), this is a textbook example of misleading adverti*****t. And this after conveniently forgetting to inform the customer that was clearly misinformed, nevertheless I agreed to pay the amount because you know, 'tiss is Africa. A few moments later they phoned me telling me that they are having trouble removing the plug from the Sump to drain engine oil, a specialist would have to be bought in (to remove a ****** nut). I could not care less if they had to bring in Zuma himself, I just needed my car in due time, on the agreed upon pricing. Later on the phoned me again, to inform me that whilst removing the plug that the Sump had been damaged, I received a bill for this as well (FFS). This was where I bought in a lawyer and he sent ma a letter to forward to them, requesting certain documentation etc. and obviously stating my disbelief and concern over their idiotic policies. Once again, no reply..

They only told me over the phone that the damage was caused prior to the service, this was conveniently forgotten earlier on.

After realizing that their stupidity is only exceeded by their greed I knew that the olden law of Transvaal is in play (*** en betaal). I went to pick up my car today (Monday), their technician took it for a quick (5 min) test drive to confirm everything is n working order.

When I got in the ****** handbrake was so tight my car could not even move freely down the incline out of their workshop! I called the bliksem that gave me the car and showed him, he wanted to fix it the following day (after they had it for 6 days). I Insisted they fix it right then and there, so they did a half-ass job in 10 min time (my handbrakes tension is still way too tight up for my liking). Long story short, it took them 6 days and almost R 5 000 to service my car, and it still isnt where I want it to be, mechanically.

Do NOT take your car near these people, they are dishonest, unqualified and simply dont give a damn about your property.
