RE: MAJOR SERVICE

We took our car to them in March to Motorlube now T/A Car Service City for a major service. A few weeks later tha cambelt snapped which was replaced by them. Took it back it was there for a week and i was assured that verything is fine. a month or two later the car overheated while still being under warranty. I went back to the branch and asked for advise. I was then told anything could cause the overheating but then the manager confirmed that the head gasket is blown. When asked what the procedure would be he said he will have to run it by his boss. I was then told to bring the car back for assessment which I definitely would think twice about. The overheating became worse. i then took it to another reputable mechanic which I have been referred to. They stripped the engine down and found that the head gasket was put on the wrong way.
