Overpriced & Extremely Poor Workmanship

Would rate Car Service City - Woodmead 0 stars if this was possible. The owner operates under the facade of not wanting to take advantage of customers and yet... a 60% mark up is charged on car parts that can be sourced personally, an oil fix is identified, and not fixed but made worse. An engine clean up is promised which is not done and to top it all off, new parts are not purchased like promised but rather, silicone is used in a poor attempt to fix a broken tappet cover gasket.

The technicians are not competent enough to deal with diagnosing a fuel pump issue, they take days before you receive feedback only to hear that they have to get in a specialist to diagnose the issue. I was then slapped with a hefty bill because of their incompetence. Hoping to finally be done with this place, my car came back from Car Service City smoking, to which the staff said was "quite normal."

I eventually had to take my car in to a specialist who ended up redoing the work. Truly, a terrible experience - I took my car in for a routine service and ended up with more issues due to the incompetence and poor workmanship of their staff. Would not recommend Car Service City to anyone who has respect for their car.
