Negligence cost me Money

<p>I went to Car Service city for a service on the 19th April 2017 and they informed me of their guarantee on the major service done to my car. On the 21 May 2017 my car gave me errors and wouldn't start, I then took my car to Mizco and they gave me great service and informed me my petrol pump had siezed and the filter was dirty the damage cost me 5700. I then went back to car service city and told them the hadn't changed my filter during the major service, should they had the filter would have carried me to the next service and my petrol pump would not have siezed. Annexures were thrown at me by their manager, and he said once the car was taken to another dealership the warranty was no longer valid. We asked him what was he referring to and he pulled out an unsigned document by myself or by him. They refused to pay the damages and said i can take it further if i wanted to.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />I wonder is it because im a woman and perceived not to know anything about cars?? Their liscence should be taken with such a bad service someone's life could be put at risk. I do feel that my consumer rights were rudely violated, i am appalled i went to then with so much faith only to be let down.</p>
