Major Service for my Jeep Compass with major dissatisfaction.

My vehicle (2013 Jeep Compass CVT 2.0lt LTD) was booked for a major service at the Bruma branch for Tuesday morning (08 August 2017). I was told to be there before 07h00, but they only arrived to open shop at around 07h20!! The major service was quoted for R2890.36 excl vat, and the additional expenses (enjine oil flush, throttle body clean, injector service, brake fluid flush, aircon regas, pollen filter and consumables) amounted to R4108.00. This was accepted by myself. I was later told that I would have to bring the vehicle back on the Thursday for the pollen filter to be fitted. I was informed that a minor oil leak had been corrected. On collecting the vehicle all the interior lights were on and would not switch off. It was discovered that the rear cargo light fitting (a removable emergency torch) had been removed. No one "knew" anything!!.

I telephoned the Customer Care Line and discussed this with a Vanessa who advised that she would investigate and revert back. Later she telephoned to say that she had investigated, spoken to the Service Manager (Head Office) who stated that the Cargo light was NOT something that was cvered under the service and that there was nothing they could do!!!. The Major Service paphlet actually state, "Electrical check and report". Just shows ignorance on the part of the "Service Manager"!!

Friday morning (11 August 2017) I noticed a pool of oil under my vehicle and took it straight back. Eventually it was discvered that the Oil filter had not been properly tightened!!!

Patrons please be aware that if any part of your vehicle is not LOCKED down such may go missing with no recall from this "Affordable Service, Guaranteed" centre with the Head office denying any responsibility.

I have made use of the Bruma branch for at least the past five years...but NO MORE.
