Horrific Experience - Car Service City Stonewood Brackenfell

Horrific experience with Car Service City Stonewood that put my life at risk. My Audi was booked in strictly for a major service, water pump, brakes and discs. Without my knowledge or consent, the workshop performed unauthorized work and replaced a fuel pipe (violating Section 32 of the CPA).They fitted a local aftermarket hose onto a specialized direct-injection system. Less than 30 minutes after collecting my car, the incorrect pipe burst or came loose, spraying petrol all over the hot engine bay, creating a catastrophic fire hazard, and leaving me stranded at night. When returned, they admitted the part was incorrect and sourced an OEM Audi line. However, they demanded R2,700 then R1725 to release my car, refusing to honor Car Service City’s own 6-month warranty. When I disputed this, Luce Petersen from Complaints_CCHoldings, verbally threatened to remove the new OEM part and deliberately reinstall the cracked fuel line back onto my engine to force me to pay. They openly ****, claiming warranties do not apply to aftermarket parts, and refused to show me supplier invoices.Only after I firmly stood my ground, demanded an independent inspection, and threatened legal escalation did they back down and waive the fee completely.While I got my vehicle back, their shocking business ethics, lack of staff qualification, and predatory ************ tactics are a massive danger to the public.Note to Car Service City Customer Complaints: Do not post a generic reply asking me to contact you to resolve this. I did but you were the active participants in threatening to put a defective, cracked pipe back onto my vehicle. The matter has been formally escalated for investigation. Avoid them at all costs!
