Extremely Unprofessional & Dishonest Service – Stay Away

I took my car to Car Service City Vanderbijlpark/Vereeniging (next to Makro) for engine work after they confirmed that they could handle the job. From the start, it was a nightmare.

For four weeks, I received no updates whatsoever – the only way I got information was by constantly following up myself. Each time, I was told the same excuse: “We’re waiting for our supplier.” This dragged on for a month, yet in all that time they could not even provide me with a proper quotation for the work.

The dishonesty and lack of communication are unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I escalated the issue to the Car Service City complaints department, they did not take my concerns seriously. Instead of investigating properly, they simply sided with the branch and dismissed my complaint. No accountability, no corrective action – nothing.

On top of that, I discovered that some of my car parts are missing after leaving my vehicle with them, and it is clear they have no clue about this.

This entire experience has left me with nothing but frustration, wasted time, and mistrust. The service is unreliable, the staff are unprofessional, and the complaints process is a complete joke.

I would not recommend Car Service City to anyone – not even my worst enemy. If you value your car and your peace of mind, stay far away from this company.
