Extremely Disappointing Service

I booked my vehicle in for a major service and unfortunately what I received felt more like an expensive oil change than a major service.

The vehicle was with Car Service City Honeydew for over 5 hours, yet several key items that should have formed part of the service were not completed. The fuel filter was not replaced, the spark plugs were not changed, and no effort was made to clear or investigate the fault codes on the ECU.

To make matters worse, while the service report listed numerous issues with the vehicle, the actual work completed did not justify either the time taken or the cost charged.

What was particularly disappointing was that my service logbook was not even filled in, despite the fact that someone had enough time to insert a business card into it. Attention was given to marketing the business, but not to completing basic service documentation.

When a customer pays for a major service, they expect the work advertised to be carried out thoroughly and professionally. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Car Service City and will be looking elsewhere for future servicing and maintenance.
