I’m sharing this to warn others about my experience with Car Service City Stonewood in Brackenfell North.

I took my 2018 Ford Ranger 2.2 in on 01 November 2025 for a routine oil and filter change. It was running perfectly when I dropped it off—no smoke, no turbo noise, no issues. But when I got it back, it was smoking heavily and making a high-pitched turbo noise. The car was clearly damaged.

Even worse? The workshop now claims they “noticed” these issues during the service—but said nothing when handing the car back. No warning. No explanation. Just silence.

Now they’re denying all responsibility, blaming “pre-existing conditions” and refusing to cover any of the repair costs. I’ve had to pay out of pocket to fix the damage, and I’m taking this to the Motor Industry Ombudsman.

If you value your vehicle and your peace of mind, think twice before trusting this branch with your car. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.
