Car Service City Randburg Incompetence

I took my car in for a snapped clutch cable, and ended up having to replace the entire clutch and fit a new cable. This was fine, as it needed to be done. It cost an arm and a leg, mind you.

My cable snapped again shortly after that. I had it replaced as it was still under warranty. Shortly after that I had to take it back because the clutch had shifted. Then after a few weeks I had a problem with the clutch again, it had shifted once again, so I took it back to get adjusted. Again.

This time I was told they had to remove the gearbox to find the fault, as the clutch and cable were fine. Now by this time I was fed up with their service, so I had someone else take a look at it. And sure enough, it turns out they had installed the clutch cable upside down.

This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Installing a part wrong not only could damage my car, but endanger my life as well as others on the road. This level of negligence and incompetence is a new one for me.

I would not recommend Car Service City Randburg to anyone. They have no clue what they're doing. And then they have the audacity to charge you double what any other place would charge.
