Car service city puts themselves before their customers

Really this whole franchise I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there, they think sweets and air fresheners will make up for there poor customer service.

Two years back I took my car to the car service city in Benoni for them to fix a leaking water pump, instead they ruined my steering. I literally had to tow away my car from a 'MECHANIC' because they simply did not know what was wrong and they cant be held liable for the 'MECHANICAL' issue. Mind you this is a Ford Focus sport, it cost me over R25 000 to fix.

Me being stupid! I decide to go to the Northmead branch for a major service. They do the job but don't do wheel alignment because they have to replace the drive shaft seal.

Yesterday i send my car in for the drive shaft seal replacement. I sent in the car before 8, they only decide to notify me at 16:00 that the part is only now on the way so they can only do the work the following day(it would of been nice to have been notified earlier that it wouldnt be possible). Today when I fetch my car the bill is above R2000 instead of the R1600 quotation I received the previous day. So I ask the lady what happened for the price to go up, because as far as I know they are supposed to notify me when the is a change in price from the quotation they gave me. The lady just went off at me, she was utterly rude. she asked me "what do you except for the job that was done on your car?". I EXPECT YOU TO TELL ME HOW MUCH THE FINAL COST IS BEFORE YOU DO ANY WORK ON THE DAMN CAR". IF SOMETHING IS GOING TO COST MORE THAN WHAT YOU TOLD YOUR CUSTOMER THEN YOU SHOULD NOTIFY THEM.

This lady was literally trying to point out how stupid I am. Ofcourse I know nothing about fixing cars, and that is why i go to your SMART shop. Your smart shop should show stupid me how everything works before you take my stupidly earned money.
