Car Service City Hatfield - BAD SERVICE

<p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;">I am taking this further because of the way the manager handeled the situation. In February I took my car to Car Service City Hatfield because it was overheating and a service. After 3 days of email being sent it was finally said that the thermostat went. The final amount that I paid was R8100. </p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;"> </p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;">4 things that they replaced and worked on have gone wrong and do not trust them:</p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;">1. My car was not washed when I went to fetch it</p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;">2. A week after the service my car s****ed over heating again - to find out that my water bottle had been leaking now is that not one of the first things you check when a car overheats?</p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;">3. They replaced my heater valve that is now permanantly on which they don't want to fix now because I took my car to someone that I trust! He just replaced the waterpump - not the heater valve!!</p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;">4. My car was making loud noices as i was in Pretoria North - i had it towed to the nearest and mechanic as it was what i could afford last week friday. To find out that the water pump that CAR SERVICE CITY HATFIELD replaced!!! </p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;"> </p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;">Now I do inderstand that all is under a 6 month warranty but with the service and faults that have happened since they fixed it, it not a company I trust at all!! I took the part to them and according to them the part is too old and it's not the one they put in. So me being in the service industry for many years said that there must obviously be a part number or something on my job card to certify that it is the waterpump they put in - but WOW - to my amu*****t they cannot find my job card. After a few words back and forth - I then tell the manager that for all I know they never replaced the part or put in a second hand pump!!!! He has the audasity to tell me if the second hand part is good enough they can !!!!! WHAT?????? </p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;">He then tells me he has to take it to head office where he only took photos after I told him to and while doing that he was laughing. </p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;"> </p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;">I am now preparing my case to the MOTOR RETAIL INDUSTRY and the ombudsman. I have now almost spent R15 000 on my car fixing drips and draps that THEY had fixed and replaced! </p> <p style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #555555;">CAR SERVICE CITY HATFIELD IS THE WORST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR!!! Never ever take your car there - the workshop manager smokes in the workshop where the clients in the front can see her aswell !! Very unprofessional!</p>
