Car Service City Fairview Port Elizabeth
I have just experienced the worst customer service from the owner or manager of Car Service City Fairview PE.
On Tuesday 23/01/2024 they skimmed my rear breaks and fitted in new break pads on my car a 2016 Jetta. On Sunday the 28/01/2024 while driving the car an ABS warning light and an Error : Electronic/al Stabilisation appeared on the dashboard for about 5min and disappeared. However on Wednesday the warning light appeared again.
I phoned the service center to inform them of the warning and error message that appears. I was told to bring in the car anytime they'll check it. I brought the car to them today, they checked it and told me my car is leaking, a surprise to me, and they said my radiator has a whole and Ihave a broken sensor. It was the first time I hear of such and let them know that it's a shock to me that I have a leak because I don't see any leaks or water coming out where I park the car at work or at home. I only came for the ABS issue and the error message on the dashboard and all of those signs appeared after they worked on the car. The owner/manager threw a fit and became rude and said I should take my car somewhere else, they won't be working on my car with such an attitude, and asked the employees to give me my car keys back. Was I wrong to complain about the warning signs which glaringly appear everytime I start the ignition. Was I wrong in voicing out the fact that all those signs appeared after they worked on the car? I have serviced the car with them more than two times. And spent close to R20000. Is this the way to treat customers. He was shouting at the top of his voice in front of another customer in instead of clearly explaining what the problem is/could be and alleviate my fears. The warning signs are still there.
I will never service or fix my car there again.
