Car Service City - Consumer Commission

Had taken my car for minor service - was later charged R28000. Then 50km of driving the vehicle the car seized - engine. Took the vehicle back to car service city - was told they need to do an engine rehaul - allowed it and paid R68000. When vehicle delivered - it had black smoke coming form the exhaust, lost power, and the engine was rattling. Tried to contact Johan Cronje the owner - and he ignored any form of contact for a year. Referred the matter to the Motor Industry Ombudsman - Car Service City and Johan Cronje ignored the invitation to mediate. The matter is with the Consumer Commission heading for tribunial trial. Johan Cronke and Car Service City claim the engine seized because of a faulty Fuel Pump which was replaced by them and I should take this up with BMW and its not their fault. Anyone experiencing similar violation with Car Service City please make contact with the Consumer Commission.
