Car Service City

To Car Service city

Please look into the running of the Northmead branch. The service and the attitude of the manager, Annelize, were shocking to say the least.

My fiancé took her car for service this past Friday. We had been using this branch for over a year now. Over and above the service my fiancés car would sometimes leak oil. She mentioned this when bring the car in.

The 1st problem she experienced was that she was initially told the car would be ready on that Friday. However this was not the case she as she was told late on Friday afternoon that she could only get the car on Saturday. This was a great inconvenience as she had to arrange transport at the 11th hour. As we have come to be fami**** with some of the staff we chose to overlook this inconvenience.

But car services city’s unhelpful manager and her lazy staff had further tricks in their ****nal of ****py service. My fiancé on Saturday en route to pick up the car called their office to advise them she was on the way to collect the car. Much to her dismay and my anger they told her that they were not done with the car! The reasons they cited was that they had not put back the car together following stripping the car when investigating the oil leak.

With regards to the oil leak: Car service city advised my fiancé on Friday that they had found the problem. They had quoted her R1300, 00 to fix this. She told them she didn’t not have that amount of money at the moment and that they should only continue with just servicing the car. This was not the first time they had helped us with checking a problem and us not having enough funds to have it fixed. Sadly car service city and the gang of incompetence failed to heed this instruction. Furthermore more they did not feel it necessary to inform my lady of any legitimate delays they were experiencing. Again they chose to wait for the 11th hour to provide the information to their client; it was Ms Xolisile Dlamini who had to call them and only then did they provide a status report.

When my fiancé got to the branch she experienced the same type of ignorance and arrogance I was also experiencing on the phone with Annelize. I ask that Car Service City award Annelize with worst manager of the award because she really is best of the nincom****s in the Northmead branches employ. First she has the audacity to call me not having investigated the background of the case. Secondly and worst of all she couldn’t wait to defend her team even when confronted by two clearly disappointed customers. Her failure to analyse the core reason for our disappointment left her harping on the matter of the oil leak problem. We told them we can’t afford to have that fixed. We told them early not worry themselves about that. All that they should have concerned themselves about is completing the service and retuning the car as we had brought in. it appears to us that car service city deliberately did not attend to our car as way of forcing our hand to ultimately have the oil leak fixed. It is either that or a general lack of respect for my fiancé’. The funny thing is after losing our tempers with the unaccommodating Annelize the car was put back to normal within the hour. This tells us that they blatantly ignored a customer’s request from more than 24 hours earlier! The sheer audacity of a manager to defend such nonsense!

It appeared more than the above account car service city northmead were spiteful. Unlike the countless other times that they they have investigated a problem in the car only for us not to have money to attend to that problem is that they asked that Xolisile a sign some sort of letter accepting that the car might potentially experience problems by failing to address the oil leak issue. Though this is a normal thing to bring to such to a customers attention they had never previously provided such a letter. It left one toying wioth notion that what if they purposely put the car back correctly. It might seem asanine but as customers we worry about such things.

The poor excuse of a manager,Annelize, and her army of clowns left us with a bitter taste in our mouths. They failed to see that the biggest problem was not the oil leak but their failure to provide timeous communication.

Had they took a few seconds to give Xolisile a call to tell she could only get the car back on Monday much of this could have been avoided. Though we would have remained unimpressed it would a been some effort on their part. They missed that opportunity and have now missed the opportunity to keep a few customers. It is not only my fiance and I that will no longer be returning to Car Service city but every single friend, family member, acquaitance and anyone who cares to listen to us.

We will excersice all our available resources to make sure that Car Service citys name is synoymous with bad serive – all thanks to Kenny and his empty-headed manager, Annelize.
