Car Service City in Vincent East London performed a diagnostics on my vehicle for an electrical fault which i told them what the symptoms were. After performing the diagnostics they then said i must now take the vehicle to an auto electrician. They charged me R700 for the diagnostics. I questioned why they did not tell me upfront that they would not be able to repair the electrical fault. They then said to me that they charging me for the diagnostics for the noise in the front of the vehicle. I said to them that was not the reason i brought in the vehicle. Since they were doing the electrical diagnostics they might as well do the cv diagnostics. Last year in November i had asked them to check the noise in the front of the vehicle and they said all was fine. They were very ********* in their conduct by misleading me knowingly that they would not be able to repair the electrical fault. They gave me a diagmostics report which does not indicate what the exact fault is. I contacted the manager Ricky, who was rude and abrupt and he told me i must speak to his workshop manager as he did not work on the vehicle. This is ************ and ********* behaviour.
