Brake pads not changed as per the quote.

I took my car for a service a year ago and had changed my brake pads and skimmed the discs as per the advise from the Illovo service center. I was due for my next service only a year later and had to service at another car service city and was advised again that i needed to change my brake pads and skim the disk. The car had been driven for approximately 17000km which is far less than the standard mileage in which brake would have run out meaning the service center did not change them the first time around. This is such a risk and its a pity we cannot check if everything has been carried out correctly ourselves. Apart from this incident I have had a good experience with Illovo Car service city and it seems they MAY have changed them after I enquired a year later.
