Car Service City has given me the worst experience. My cousin took my car in at their Bloemfontein brunch. They firstly forced us to pay R7000 to diagnose my engine. They stripped the engine but failed to give me a diagnostic report. Instead they quoted a ridiculous amount (R100k +)and suggested we go buy a new engine. Weeks and weeks of complaining about the R7k that was charged but we still don’t know what the issue is.( Note that when we took the car in the car was moving just didn’t have strength). We then agreed that I would pay R5k. Every time my cousin goes their workshop we discover something missing from my car. They stole my spear wheel, then my jack and spanners. They even went as far as taking my new battery and replacing it with an old one. What is really shocking is every time I ask them about my items they claim to have given them to my cousin. Why would anyone want to remove unnecessary things from their car when at the moment they don’t even have a car. I’ve asked countless time for footage, till to date we have not seen the footage. They avoiding proving to me that they actually gave me those items. They also lie. Because before paying them the R5k I asked them; is my spare wheel, Jack and spanner’s back. They said yes. When my cousin gets there to collect my car those items are still not there. They just wanted my money.
