Clutch plate that was used

I bought a clutch kit by Midas and was told it was new. However my mechanic told me that it was refurbished and they refused to reimburse me with something else. The sales guy told me that was the second clutch kit that was problematic and GM will not take full responsibility. I informed him that I was not hoping to be receiving funds but do not wish to receive the same brand but he insisted that they will not give me anything. I left that clutch kit, the mechanic had not even bothered to call me. Itrans I lost R1700 for nothing.
