Far East Hospital in Springs Ekurhuleni

My daughter has been admitted at the materninty ward at the Far East Hospital in Springs at Ekurhuleni a few hours ago on this day 13 April 2022. She has been sitting on the bench since around 6 until now 23.53 hrs. There are NO BEDS. She told me that there are expectant ladies who have been there since Monday and have been sitting and sleeping on the bench and still. Can you imagine the misery those poor expectant mothers to be are in. The labour pains and discomfort. Really. How cruel and uncaring can that hospital be. There are No blankets to make it worse. In this cold weather. I am beyond shocked. It is a pity that I cannot share the pictures of those expectant mothers to be sleeping uncomfortably on benches..
