Stay Away From Car Dons
Do not use them. I have been busy with a finance application with them for over a week now and they keep telling me there is delays due to loadshedding. They sold the car yesterday to a cash buyer even though my finance application has been approved. On Monday I questioned the extra admin fees that was loaded onto the application, with no one answering me. I knew they were going to come back with an excuse as to not sell the car to me. Bunch of ******

15 Feb 2023, 16:48Good day Sir. We do regret that you feel the way you do. As previously explained to you, we have standard on the road costs per vehicle that we sell and our clients have a right to either accept, refuse or negotiate these costs. Please accept the fact that we do also have the right to not negotiate our costs if the margins on the vehicle are really not negotiable, as it was in your case. Your delay on your deal was due to you not being happy with the bank that approved your finance and at your request wanting your deal moved to another bank which we were obliged to do. You were still not happy with the new bank and was querying charges yet again and this is what has caused more than a week's delay on your deal. You did inform the salesman that you were not happy with the deal, not happy with our fees and also not entirely happy with the vehicle as you wanted further inspections done. We therefore concluded that you really might not want to go ahead with this deal and sold the vehicle off to a client that was happy with the price and the vehicle. We do however wish to keep you as our client and would rather have you come in and find a vehicle that you are more comfortable with. Hope to see you soon.

15 Feb 2023, 18:361) I questioned the "on the road fees" as you had your own fees already, all I wanted was an explanation, but that proved too difficult.
2) Not once has anyone at your dealership told me that these rates are not negotiable, in actual fact the rates was negotiated and reduced right in the beginning of my application.
3) You are saying that the delay came from me due to me not being happy with the finance deal. Not true, you gave me one option, BMW's finance, I requested from you to get more deals in, you came back with only ABSA. In my previous experience in buying second hand cars the other dealerships came back to me within a day or two with at least 4 different options. The delay was on your side as I had to constantly ask you for feedback on the deal, not once has anyone contacted me out of their own to let me know what's happening.
4) The ABSA finance deal was only presented to me on Monday, to which I queried the admin fees so how did that delay the process with over a week if I only saw it 2 days ago????
5) I never requested any extra inspections on the vehicle, Thulani told me that there was damage to the front of the car that will be fixed before the car is delivered to me, that was not done on my request.
At least you managed to think of other excuses now and not use loadshedding anymore.
I wish there was a way to hold you accountable for the problems you have now caused me.
