CAR CONNEXION FAILED ME
I took my car for change of plugs and coils on August 10, then on September i was on my way to Margate when i realised that my wipers water spray was not working and i reported the matter but instead of admiting that they might have disturbed something while changing the parts the guy was quick to diagnose the problem and giving me a quote which means he knows exactly what they did wrong in the car. I am really disappointed with car connexion East London Beacon Bay Branch and them to admit what they did wrong and fix it.

05 Nov 2022, 16:59So i took the car back and a new part was added and hardly 10 days later it stopped working, i contacted the lady i normally talk to there but she never responded and its been 5 days since i notified her about the problem

We apologize for the inconvenience, but as discussed with you in person on 19/10/22 the issue lies with the connector on the washer bottle pump, as we showed you the plug had water ingress causing corrosion, Upon your acknowledgement, we therefore replaced the pump free of charge but advised the connector itself would need to be replaced at an auto-electrician (which explains why the part would stop working 10 days later), its beyond repair and requires replacement.. You acknowledged the above mentioned issue but we are sorry for any misunderstanding and would like to refer you to an auto electrician that would be able to carry out the work required.. Regrettably we cannot share the info online but will forward you the details.

Your vehicle came in the 1st time to replace coil packs you supp****, as mentioned to you on the 19/10/22 the coils are at the top end of the motor whereas the washer bottle pump is locked at the bottom right bumper corner, the bumper sustained impact damage and as we discussed with you we suspect the connector was "repaired" prior to us ever working on the vehicle, but as we showed you the connector was removed and two spade terminals where used, there was no way of keeping water out of the connector, which lead to corrosion on both male and female terminals.. as stated before we could only replace the pump side, and not the connector which you where happy with & gave authorization for, so we carried out the procedure at no cost to you and explained we could do our best to ensure proper contact between the terminals and pump but still recommended the connector to be replaced AS it was only intended to be a temporary repair, not a permanent resolution..
Once again we apologize for any misunderstanding.

08 Nov 2022, 00:42I just find it funny that everything was working well for a whole year before coming there then all of a sudden it stopped, had you explained to me that this was a temporary fix i wouldnt have agreed to taking the part and PAYING for it so you cant say it was no cost to me.
