Disappointed customer

At first I was really impressed with the owner Tyran's work ethic but I must say it has really left a very bad taste in my mouth! Perhaps after this review you will change your company name again!

Captain Solutions quoted us on replacing our outdoor rails of out home at over R50 000. We had to wait 4 weeks for the metal to be galvanized in our color of choice and against rust. One would think that once the job is done it would all look great.

Well, it took weeks to finish as there was always some family emergency or a dog or heaven knows what else! I was patient and had sympathy for his situation.

1. Color didn't match as per the sample I gave but I kept it any way cause to wait another month for it to be recoated wasn't going to happen! Our railings had already been removed. 2. We had quite a few broken tiles, I fixed this before the steel tubes was placed and they broke it again. This was left as is. 3. Their work was very untidy and where they had to combine the rails it now had to be painted. 4 different tries on matching the color and another R1000 out of my pocket they came and painted it, and it is now lighter that the galvanized product!!! It looks like a 3 year old did it and to think we spent R50 000 on this and it looks cheap! 4. To date, now 2 months, he hasn't brought the stoppers he promised and refuses to take my calls. 5. He also bragged about his dad owning several tiling shops and that he would help finding our tiles I needed for my TV room. He even pulled our a strip out of our wooden floor to look for this...I'm now left with a hole in my floor as this too didn't happen. 6. As I was so impressed with him in the beginning, I asked them to put a Barn door in my kids TV room...2 months down the line I'm still waiting. He acted like he calls the guy in front of me and fighting with him but still no barn door. 7. I'm now left with holes in my floor, 2 tone painted railings with holes in!

At 30 you still have a long way to go and I can assure you if this is how you end off projects by ignoring people just because you got paid you will not survive. No matter how rich your parents are!

All you needed to do was to say you are no longer doing my tiles or barndoor and deliver the stoppers for the railings. At least attempted to come fix your mess you created on the 'paint' job! I don't understand how you galvanize a product that then has to be painted into another color at R50 000!

I went out of my way to accommodate you with your problems and fed your staff, it is not on your quote! The least you could do is to courier our stoppers and answer your phone!

I will be taking this further unless your send me my stoppers that was paid for!
