Pathetic service on a day of celebration

Absolutely poor service from this branch. Went for lunch around 13:45 and waited until 14:30 without receiving our order of 3 veg dishes, 1 being a starter. The waiter did not pay attention to us the entire time and rather spent his time serving others who had come after us. There was no initiative from him to inform us of any delays in the kitchen or to check in on us. We watched as many customers who came after us receive their food which comprised of various meat dishes which was concerning as it is very common for veg dishes to have faster cooking times compared to meat. Being regular customers, this was absolutely disappointing and unacceptable especially on a day where South Africans are celebrating their heritage at establishments that pride on an enjoyable experience. After deciding to leave, the waiter then comes up to us and says that one of the veg dishes still had to be made. He then called the manager who instead of listening to our concerns told us to take the food in doggy bags. Poor service from a well established franchise and poor customer treatment on their part. 2/10 recommend.
