Disgusted Customer - Cuppaccinos Clearwater

<p>Very Furious, disgusted and Dissatisfied Customer</p> <p> </p> <p>I am writing this review as my original letters to management were blatently ignored as a phonecall with an apology does not rectify the damage done, I feel it is only fair that the truth be told.</p> <p> </p> <p>With great disappointment I would I like to tell the world about my unpleasant experience at Cuppaccinos.</p> <p>I am extremely disgusted and upset to say the least about the whole situation.</p> <p>My girlfriend and I went for a light meal to Cuppaccinos at Clearwater mall on Sunday 25 October 2015 in the afternoon around 12pm</p> <p>The restaurant was not busy at all so we thought the service would be quick and not over crowded by people.</p> <p>We both ordered the same meal, chicken wrap with chips.</p> <p>We both ordered drinks. The drinks took 15 minutes to be served, we waited about 35 minutes for the food to come.</p> <p>When we received our food it was “ICE” cold as if it came out of a freezer or fridge.</p> <p>The only thing that was warm was the chips so I thought that it might be a cold chicken wrap.</p> <p>We continued eating. Suddenly I bit something hard. It was a chicken bone! I thought fair enough, it can happen because we are eating a chicken wrap after all. I did nothing regarding this and continued eating.</p> <p>The service of the waiters were also quite slow considering how few customers there were but still I decided I just want to enjoy the afternoon and relax.</p> <p>The next thing I knew, as I bite into the chicken wrap, I felt accompanied by a loud “crunch” and an immense pain in my jaw!!</p> <p>What on earth!! It was a piece of broken plate!!! In my chicken wrap!!! I damaged my tooth on this flipping thing! A piece of my tooth broke off!!!</p> <p>I am furious to say the least and know my tooth is cracked after receiving old food!! What kind of service is this?</p> <p>What kind of hygiene is this!!!?? At this stage I was so furious and in pain I had lost my appetite! My girlfriend said let us just eat something and leave immediately after.</p> <p>I don't want someone else’s meal that landed up on the floor, which was sc****d together to be sold off to the next idiot when he orders the same thing!!</p> <p>I am utterly disgusted by this restaurant, neither I or ANY of my friends or family or colleagues will EVER go back to Cuppacinos.</p> <p>I am writing this article to warn other people regarding the substandard of food and service in this restaurant. You pay premium prices but you literally get food from the floor!!</p> <p>I stood up from our table looking for a manager which was nowhere to be found. </p> <p>Eventually the waiter saw that I was about to hit someone and came to my table. I called for a manager, waited about 10 minutes for the manager to come.</p> <p>He apologized and quickly whisked the food away before I could take photos- believe me I would have posted them the world all over if I had them!!!</p> <p>We ordered something completely different in the hope not the receive the same old food that was just heated up in the microwave, two burgers-nothing fancy.</p> <p>We received the burgers after about 40 minutes of waiting, at least they were hot and seemed fresh- This is not the point!!</p> <p>It was difficult for me to eat with the overwhelming tooth ache I had, the pain from my tooth continued to plague me for the rest of the evening and part of the next day!!</p> <p>You are supposed to receive fresh food every time and not food sc****d from the floor with hazardous sharp objects in!</p> <p>I refused to pay for my food due to this unpleasant experience, but I did pay for my drinks which I think I should not even have done. I even tipped the waiter. I was very close to shout for all the customers to hear to stop eating due to the food not being safe for consumption. My girlfriend pulled me away, if it was not for her I would have stood there screaming until the owner came!</p> <p>When we left I asked this same manager for the details of the owner of which he could not provide me, he gave me a business card of the restaurant. I was told the owner is Andrew.</p> <p>I am only writing this now as I needed some time to cool down a bit otherwise this would be an article filled with cursing only-fortunately I will keep my opinion of what I really think to myself and only write here my experience to warn other people.</p> <p>I will never in my life return to this restaurant, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone I know and turned down the idea for our Christmas year end function at work. There is no excuse for what happened. I could have swallowed the piece of plate, cut my intestines open without knowing and died a day or two later from septicaemia(intestinal infection in my case).</p> <p>What if a child consumed food like this? I will never expose anyone else to such a health risk if I can help it!</p> <p>I am taking this up with the Health inspector and the papers as well because I believe that such an establishment should not exist after what has happened to me, it is ridiculous!!</p> <p>Apologies does not fix anything as I have chipped my tooth and I WILL BE VISITING THE DENTIST AND SENDING THE BILL TO THE OWNER AND CLAIM FOR DAMAGES.</p> <p>I cannot emphasize how upset I am about this, the fact that I am going to a dentist still does not ever replace my damaged tooth that you only receive teeth once in a lifetime! I will never submit myself to such a substandard establishment ever again!</p>
