Cappello Melville -Must be shut down

Cappello Melville, has not even been open for half a year and already it's one of the worst restaurants in Johannesburg. Besides the fact that half the things that are in the menu , they don't even serve. The waiters don't even know what they have in stock half the time. The first time I was at the restaurant. I had to show one of the waiters what "still water" was on the POS. The owner is clearly too cheap to give them proper training. This is probably why his staff *****s from him/the restaurant. The manager of the restaurant is a cleaner his worked with for some time and just promoted him without sending him for training and thus he doesn't know how to run an establishment properly. The Dj comes and goes when he pleases and sometimes there is no music playing at all its just dead quiet. (Probably because he does not pay the DJ well enough either). If the Dj isn't there. The manager does not know how to operate the Dj system. Most places I know, the managers know how to run the entire place. And that is why he or she is the manager. The manager doesn't even know the price of things or whats in stock. They will not serve coffee or tea to customers at the back because they don't have a machine. But the have a kettle at the back, how badly do you want to make your customers happy. Never the less I don't see why the staff should perform well when the kitchen staff do not get paid. And they ***** from the back too. The waiters pay works as follows: They do not get paid a fixed income. They work on tips only. If the restaurant makes R10 000 at the end of the month the waiters get 1% if it makes R20 000 they get 2%. But Cappellos Melville has been open and hardly gets customers so the waiters are not making tips or commission. So he will just pay them R200 end of the month. So they can come back. Why don't they report him? Because all the staff that work there are either , "******* residents" or desperate and he works on that. His made the staff work 9am in the morning till 10am the next morning and did not pay them over time. For a week he made the bartenders and some of the staff work for 15 hours straight and still no over time. If him and his friends are drinking in their. He makes them stay. He does not feed them. And does not care how they get home at those hours. When one of the staff complained about not being paid his made a comment that he will "kick them in the head". He treats his staff like ****. And he knows they cannot report him. He is cheap and selfish. When I worked for him he would constantly ask me out and always ask " if it's just going to be business between us" which made me very uncomfortable and no one should feel like that. He has not paid me and said it's because I don't do what he wants , if I don't get paid I will not work. I really think that all this started when I rejected him.

Apparently he has been like this for a long time. And it's time something is done about it.
