Cappello Long Street Cape town Complaint

Cappello on Long Street Cape Town has the worst service ever and is managed by ingorant people who will definitely kill that business.

Myself and 2 friends are visiting the mother city and decide to hit the party scene on Long Street on Friday 20 October around 8:30pm only to be welcomed by rude bouncers that don't even speak proper english and a manager named Thawe that is just as ********.

As our Uber dropped us at the entrance, my friend had a drink in her hand she was immediately pushed by the bouncer and said go away, she said I am done with my drink tossed it in the trash at the door but the bouncer said no you not allowed in. I asked why he said you are not booked! Without even asking anything and I said should I book a table? He pushed me and said you must go spend your money somewhere else.

Two white men just passed us at the door and they said can we buy beer here and they they were let in without a booking being asked. I lost it and just asked why are they not being asked about a booking and he said we don't want your money go away.

A waiter by the name of Simmy came to the door as he wanted to find out what was happening and I told him and he said it's empty they wrong they had to let you in, the other guy said no we not letting them in. Simmy said he is angry that your friend throw her drink away in our trash.

I asked for the manager only to find he was standing at the door near the whole incident. He came out and said what must I do for you?

I explained the situation and he said your anger is what is making us send you away, since you angry go and spend your money somewhere else.

I asked him for his name and surname and he said he can spell his name but the complaint department knows his the only manager so he won't give me his surname.
