I have absolutely been deceived by Capital Office Automation and wish to share with prospective clients on how they operate. I was visited a few times by their agent . I had explained what we do and what I need as a printing company and have extensive emails detailings what we require. We print various products which includes digital paper printing. After many negotiations I agreed to the quotation and everything happened very fast from there. even to the extent the machine was delivered before signing the agreement. We ran as normal and priced our work accordingly. In between they had gone privately to my office and said to my staff that I asked them to sign these forms which was a contract with basically more than triple the price. No resolution was signed by myself or my company board as it is in a trust. after the ink ran out they have sent me an invoice for extra ink as they only cover 15% of an a4 page with what I signed. It is the same logic as signing to buy a car and the engine is separate but they only inform you after your drive it or me having to inform clients I can print you an A5 flyer but you can only use 15% of it? The completely deceived us as a client and try and hid behind a contract that I didn't even sign. This is totally against the CPA and all information needs to be clearly stipulated and I will be taking this head on to the Xerox board as well as their finance house. The contract was not even approved with my signature but yet the had it passed. the machine now stands in my workshop unplugged and will never be used and I have to go to their opposition who also agreed it is totally unacceptable what they have done. No company in their field works in that way. They try to inform me that this machine is what was asked for however I am the person who asked for it and never once said that. It was clearly explained what was required. It is very sad in this new world we live in when the suppliers have to literally hoodwink you into using their services or pay their price and. take advantage of various staff members who do not know the wiser. I now have a machine for 36 months I cannot use at all and will not pay the R 1.93 per click Use Capital office Automation at your peril. Disgusting behaviour and their thinly veined morals in unreal. I have repeatedly said I do not wish to do business with them and they do not care as they have a. "contract" written in lies. I will make sure I fight this and lodged a case to CPA. I still waiting for a resolution from them on why it was signed without the rest of my board.
