Worst company!
Bought a vehicle from Capital Legacy in January 2023 which is part of a deceased estate. I was advised that I will be receiving all paperwork within a week. By January 30th delivery was arranged and address confirmed for transfer papers to be delivered (Till today never arrived) It has gone to 3 months and I still had no papers, to which I told the consultant (Nadine) about returning the vehicle as I still do not have the vehicle in my name and I do not want to make changes on a vehicle of which I might never receive paperwork on. I was advised that the paperwork will be sorted and I may proceed to change anything needed.
In March the matter was transferred to the Senior estate practitioner (Hayley), when it was revealed to me that they do not have the original paperwork of the vehicle, but will get duplicate papers. Next revelation was that the vehicle is not listed under the ID number of the deceased, but rather her ex husband who lives abroad and cannot get duplicate or original paperwork of the vehicle.
Every few weeks I requested updates where the same ‘efforts’ is being reiterated of how they are trying to obtain duplicate papers to no avail.
It is going on 9 months. I am trying to contact Capital Legacy to talk to the practitioner who is constantly unavailable or in meetings or she will call back and never does. I even drove all the way to Cape Town , visited their office and could not get into contact with the practitioner.
It absolutely ridiculous for a company of this calibre to portray this level of ignorance and unprofessionalism. Till today I am still awaiting on a call back from your office as the license of the vehicle is due to expire and the vehicle is still not in my name.
