Will not recommend!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My father passed in Aug 2024, in Sept we met with the estate planner and all was well until it was handed over to the next person.

We were advised to appoint an accountant to deal with a dormant business my father had on his name but is still active on CPIC. To deal with this, we were informed to appoint an accountant to deal with the business. 1 November we had appointed the accountant and all they required was an OTP from our Executor who is never available. 19 November we were told that our Executor will not give the OTP and the heirs needs to be registered as the Directors of the company and then the heirs can deregister the business. Done all the leg work, just to be told the Executor will not sign the documents needed until they receive valuations, problem is (and they know it) we can't get any of the valuations without the OTP for SARS. 4 months since appointing the account and we are still sitting at square one, waiting for the Executor to give us an OTP.

I have to beg and plead for feedback. This has been carrying on for 4 months. If this was sorted out in Nov or Dec the estate could have been in it's final stages but we are still sitting at the beginning due to the lack of support received. I will never recommend Capital Legacy to anyone. The service is horrible.

Not sure if the longer they take to resolve a matter the more money they make, but its starting to feel like all we are to them is a cheque and not people mourning death of loved ones
